The End of NaBloPoMo

It is the end of November so for me it is the end of National Blog Posting Month. I had planned to end it off with a bang - The MOVIE of Victoria & Heulwen's Birthday Party but I am trying to find the right music and it is just plain frustrating me so I am going to leave it for another day. Hey, it will keep you checking back here.

I want so say THANK YOU to all of you who commented here on my blog and on Facebook. Those comments kept me wanting to blog every day. A BIG THANK YOU to RW at An Acceptable Time for inspiring me to take on this challenge and for commenting regularly. I had fun trying to come up with something to blog every day and am glad and amazed that I only missed two days. I might try this again in February.

Of course you won't have to wait until February to see new posts here...The holidays are coming up so there will be tons of picture posts of holiday fun!

Knitting & Guilt

This is my newest finished project.

Since the summer my room has been a disorganized mess. I kept putting it off for better things to do but it was actually just hanging over my head not allowing me to do 'better things'. I stopped knitting because I felt too guilty but not guilty enough to clean my room. Finally a week or so ago I cleaned, sorted, and reorganized my bedroom. Not too long afterwards I picked up my knitting needles and finished this little guy. I now have two projects on the go. Yes, it is nice to have a clean room but it is even nicer to knit again.

We have a lot of birthdays at the end of November beginning of December and sometimes it is hard to think of gifts that won't be lost amongst the other toys and aren't too expensive. Here are a few ideas we came up with.
